MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL------FREE PREVIEW BY WOW
"WOW'S" NFL-Free preview
INDIANAPOLIS -3..........................5 *
Indianapolis comes into this week off a hard fought victory against the Jacksonville Jaguars. In a game that really Indy dominated. Peyton Manning was able to do anything he wanted on offense finishing the game with 301 yards passing and 1 touchdown. If it wasnt for the two costly turnovers Indy wouldve won by a more comfortable margin. Look for Manning to pick apart the Dolphins swiss cheese secondary. Miami on the other hand lost last week to the Atlanta Falcons in a game where the Dolphins looked terrible. The offense couldnt move the ball effectively as there was no threat from the passing game. Pennington finished with a total of 176 yards passing, thats just not gonna get the job done!! Indianapolis' pass D is an elite unit, and they played up to last year's standards (allowing just six pass TDs through 16 games, ranking sixth in the league averaging 188.1 yards allowed per contest) in week one, limiting David Garrard and company to 14/28 for 114 yards, zero TDs and zero interceptions on opening day. It is difficult to advance the ball through the air when Indianapolis is in town. Also Chad Pennington was sacked four times last week by the Atlanta Falcons look for Robert Mathis and Dwight Freeney to have big games. I dont see the Dolphins being very effective running the ball either as there is no passing threat to keep the defense honest. I expect the Colts to be in full control tonight from start to fininsh en route to a two touchdown victory.
